Jackie Hall is a state registered Art Therapist, trained in Jungian art psychotherapy at Roehampton university. She has worked for 20 years in the field of vulnerable children and adolescents, including working as an Art Therapist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and three years working with young people with a life limiting conditions and their siblings, at a Children’s Hospice. She currently runs art therapy groups in an Eating Disorder day service and in the inpatient unit of an adult mental health provision. She has been developing and running workshops in London around Jungian ideas of symbolism and creativity, and is developing retreats in Bali, building on the healing and restorative power of creativity learnt through art therapy practice. She is registered with HCPC.
Annette is a state registered Art Therapist and has a diverse background in education where she has worked for over 15 years at primary, secondary and Further Education levels. Annette has worked with a wide variety of special needs students and currently works as a Service Coordinator and art therapist in Respond; a psychotherapy service for people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and/or abuse. She has a personal passion for the healing power of Art in psychodynamic mental health interventions and is registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
David has lived and worked in Bali for eleven years, as a designer and running a furniture business working closely with artisan ceramic, glass and wood factories in Bali and wider across Indonesia. He is responsible for the accommodation and activities for the Bali retreats. He is pictured here at the blessing ceremony for the Indies Estate, accompanied by the village Banja and Nyoman, who runs the accommodation beautifully.
